Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Features That Make it Superior to Note 3

It runs Android Marshmallow out of the box with MIUI 8 on top. The Redmi Note 4 packs in a 14nm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with FinFET technology, employing 8x Cortex-A53 clocked at 2GHz for all of its efficiency as well as performance needs. We felt that the K6 Power is equipped with a decent camera and we're hopeful that the Redmi Note 4 offers a better snapper than its predecessor. Packing an impressive processor and insane battery life, the Redmi Note 3 rounded it up with an unbelievable price tag that made competing with the device really hard for others.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been launched in India. Redmi Note 4 has dual speakers at the bottom, while the older phone had speakers at the back. It's latest smartphone was launched at a priced from Rs 9,999 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory variant.

On the contrary, the 13MP on the new device comes with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) which enables faster focusing and a Backside Illuminated (BSI) sensor with 1.12-micron pixels, which facilitates low-light photography. The bar was set very high, so the question that one inevitably asks: can the Redmi Note 4 raise the bar even higher?

When it comes to processor, the Z2 Plus has a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor as compared to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The Redmi Note 4 will also be available in 3GB RAM and 32GB memory, and 4GB RAM and 64GB memory versions.

The three variants of the Redmi Note 4 will be sold for Rs.9,999 (32GB/2GB RAM), Rs.10,999 (32GB/3GB RAM) and Rs.12,999 (64GB/4GB RAM). The move to a 14nm based SoC with exclusively Cortex-A53 cores will theoretically improve upon battery life in a noticeable manner.

During the launch event, Xiaomi also announced the rollout of the Android 7.0 Nougat preview which will be available soon for Mi fans.

The Redmi Note 4 features a full HD (1080p) display, Adreno 506 for graphics and has support for 4G VoLTE in India.

It's a pretty high-end phone, the Redmi Note 4, when you look at its spec-sheet and yet it costs so little, just like the Redmi Note 3. For ₹9,999 ($146) for 2GB+16GB and ₹11,999 ($176) for 3GB+32GB but on Snapdragon 650, the question remains in the air on which one is the better deal.
