Four cars were destroyed and four others were badly damaged, said the Anaheim Fire Department.

- At least five people suffered smoke inhalation in a blaze at the Mickey & Friends parking structure at Disneyland on Monday.

The fire began on the second story of the 10,000-space structure and its cause was still under investigation. The damage tally financially for the fire is $180,000, with eight vehicles hit with extensive damage and another "one to three" vehicles suffering minor damage, police said.

"I just came to disney for a fun time...and the parking structure catches on fire while I'm parking", tweeted Tiffany Anne.

In all, officers and the police union donated more than $1,000 to assist the victims, according to police. But for Bennett, the robbery was a frightening lesson. "You never know what's going to happen".

The fire was extinguished around 5:30 p.m. Four employees were hospitalized.

Hundreds of park visitors and employees were stuck outside the structure unable to get to their cars until the evacuation ended after about two hours. The blaze was in the Mickey & Friends structure, according to Sgt. Daron Wyatt of Anaheim Fire and Rescue.

Aerial footage from NewsChopper 4 showed black smoke billowing into the air.

Seven people were treated for signs of excessive smoke inhalation and four were transported to a nearby hospital, firefighters said.
