Tennis star Bouchard honours Super Bowl blind date bet

Meanwhile, Bouchard continues to do the press rounds for her new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit feature alongside fellow tennis star, Serena Williams.

Bouchard, likely feeling pretty confident about a Falcons win at that point, replied "Sure".

However, there have been no updates on how the date went.

So Bouchard went through with the date - the two attended a Nets game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn - and shared a few photos.

Apparently it worked, because TMZ caught up with the pair after the game and asked if there would be a second date.

She joked about her losing form on the night of the Grammy's, tweeting: "Not making any bets tonight!" with a laughing emoji.

He had also once told a Japanese TV station that he was personally opposed to a third generation of Kims ruling North Korea. Recently, South Korea had tried to negotiate Mr Kim's defection but failed, The Korea Herald reported.

Genie Bouchard wasn't on her own in thinking Super Bowl LI was as good as settled at half-time.

Bouchard had tweeted that she "knew Atlanta would win" with the Falcons holding a big lead over the Patriots during the NFL's championship game. The Telegraph reports she told Sports Illustrated's Extra Mustard, "After all the media attention it got, it was something I could, first of all, not back out of".

With all this in mind, the Canadian tennis star fired off the following tweet.

"The most awesome part is that she agreed to it without knowing who I was", he said. But one fan had a wager for her.

"The issue covers every kind of body type, and I think that's great", she added.

While Goehrke seemed fairly subdued for a lot of the date, one has to imagine he was just trying to play it cool for his superstar date.
