National Football League mock draft: Browns grab Myles Garrett, Mitch Trubisky

Posted March 03, 2017

The Cleveland Browns have kept busy in the opening weeks of free agency, working out new deals with Jamie Collins, Charley Hughlett and Britton Colquitt, while also placing a second-round tender on Isaiah Crowell. Pryor's situation was prominent in the discussion. In between these two statements, Pryor's agents landed wide receiver Antonio Brown five-year, $72 million contract to remain with the AFC North-rival Pittsburgh Steelers.

Trubisky measured in at just over 6'2, which Browns head coach Hue Jackson said was a magic number for him.

Browns Vice President of Football Operations Sashi Brown told reporters at the NFL Combine on Wednesday that the team could potentially trade the draft pick.

For the second consecutive year, Brown has gone on record to say that retaining talent is a priority, but is now hedging his original thoughts by saying the team "will not panic" if they can not sign Pryor. "We'll spend even more time as we leave here to continue to build a case for who's gonna have an opportunity to play for us and I think that's what you have to do", Jackson said. "He fits in our system, had a lot of success here with our coaches, so we think this is a great place for him to finish his career".

"There's so much that goes into this decision and I think there's no rush by any stretch of the imagination because we want to make the right decision". So we liked everything we saw about him.

Logan review: Jackman's perfectly brutal farewell to Wolverine
Mangold told eager fans on Twitter that he's "workin' on" a black and white version of Logan , which comes out this week. When I read claws came out of his hands, I thought, 'That's ridiculous.' Wolverine is a different character.

The few weeks between the end of the NFL season and the start of free agency, and then the few weeks between free agency and the NFL Draft, are often referred to by league observers as lying season (or leverage season).

Cleveland has also been tied to other trades recently, especially with the reigning champion New England Patriots and their backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, but Brown wouldn't respond to the speculation.

Of course, the Browns could have avoided this by placing the franchise tag on Pryor, but opted not to do that before the 4 p.m.

"I understand the interest in that and I've seen all the headlines being written out there, but I wouldn't comment", Brown said.
