Discussing the idea for More Life late previous year, he said, "I'm off, like, mixtapes, I want to do a playlist".

According to Forbes, the majority of hits have come from his album Views, which was released nearly a year ago (April 16), and has racked up over two billion streams.

His new playlist aka compilation album More Life is set to debut later today on Apple Music but before that, he has made a decision to mark the moment with a new tattoo on his arm.

The playlist is expected to include new music from Drake as well as songs from other artists close to the rapper.

Pitchfork reports a source at Amazon has confirmed that the "playlist" will be available on their streaming service at the same time as Apple Music. Contrary to expectations, he will not release More Life strictly through Apple Music/iTunes, like he did for Views, his last studio album.

The artist has been rushing to finish the songs while on the road in Europe for his Boy Meets World Tour, but he assured fans the new music would be arriving soon as he performed in Hamburg last week. Drake's manager, Oliver El-Khatib, then revealed it would release in early 2017.

Drake finally gave us More Life. The image being shown to promote the OVO Sound Radio shows a bee, and some fans are joking and commenting and asking if the bee is in the photo promoting Drake's More Life album because bees are in danger and need more life. "All original music from me". Just really excited... I just want to celebrate life. "That's something we not take for granted", he added.
