Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Gets New Spring Trailer

Posted April 28, 2017

There are a handful of games out there that can truly be called classics, and Square Enix's Final Fantasy is one of them.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 fans have been given some more bad news about potential release dates. Even then, we may not end up getting either game that year; it all depends on how each game is going.

Square Enix really is taking their time with two rather massive RPGs in its line-up, with Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III always lingering in the shadows when release dates are brought up. Of course, neither title appears in the 2017 section, as both appear underneath the FY2018 and beyond header.

Moreover, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake had some rumors in the past.

In a translated interview with game director Tetsuya Nomura in KH Insider, Nomura admitted that he is a little anxious about these.

Square Enix forecasts

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is expected for release on Xbox One and PS4. However, he admits that the game will never release this year. This is worth buying if you love JRPGs or Final Fantasy games in general.

Square Enix Ltd. develops, publishes, distributes and licenses SQUARE ENIX®, EIDOS® and TAITO® branded entertainment content in Europe and other PAL territories as part of the Square Enix group of companies. The game director also said that a development progress could be shown "at an event somewhere", suggesting another E3 appearance of the long overdue game. Did this come as a surprise for you?

The revamped job system also lets players strengthen the characters the way they want to, allowing them to experiment and see which paths of progression work best for them.

Finally, Nomura said that he is sorry for keeping the people waiting for the games.
