A Hinds County Sheriff's Department deputy has filed a lawsuit against singer R. Kelly for allegedly having an affair with his wife. To start, Bryant claims Childress had a previous relationship with Kelly prior to their July 15th, 2012 wedding, but was told that it had ended. While Bryant revealed that Childress has since filed for divorce in order to continue her alleged affair, the move was "financially ruinous" and he's seeking damages.
Bryant then claims his wife persuaded him to move to Atlanta so that she could pursue career opportunities. Let me not forget to mention, Bryant alleges Kelly gave his wife chlamydia.
Summary: R. Kelly is being sued by a MS man for breaking up his marriage.
While this lawsuit sounds outrageous, it could be winnable in the state of Mississippi.
Marissa Mayer will walk away from Yahoo with $186 million
It has been noted that she now holds Yahoo stock, stock options, and restricted stock units worth a total of $186 million. Mayer admitted that year the company had only started investing in mobile in 2013 and was "late" and "behind".
They went on, "Childress repeatedly traveled to nearby states to attend R. Kelly concerts and rendezvous with the singer". Bryant and Asia Childress were married in 2012.
Representatives of the rhythm and blues star, whose full name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, didn't immediately return requests for comment Thursday. There are even screenshots showing conversations where Kenny confronts his wife about the affair and how she convinced him to uproot his life for her.
The reason that all of this is in the courts, instead of in another chapter of "Trapped in the Closet", is that MS is one of only a few states where spouses can sue someone for breaking up their marriage.
R. Kelly has yet to respond to the lawsuit or the allegations.
