Federal Government to Invite Anthony Joshua to Nigeria

With the IBF, WBA and lesser IBO world heavyweight belts to his name, Joshua is now the belle of the boxing ball with fighters from all over the globe courting the Brit for his next fight.

WBC kingpin Deontay Wilder and WBO champion Joseph Parker are frontrunners to be Joshua's first fight Stateside while a rematch with Klitschko remains a very real possibility. I was unpacking my bag for 30 seconds, then I would come back and watch a little bit.

The Federal Government is working out plans to invite the newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Joshua to Nigeria.

Fury has already declared his interest in taking on Joshua on multiple occasions and, after the 27-year-old defeated Wladimir Klitshko on Saturday night, the former champion was again quick to call out "AJ".

"I feel more than ever that I will KO Joshua within 8 rounds - but I also feel that after Klitschko dropped Joshua with one punch that Eddie Hearn will never let Joshua get in the ring with me", Ortiz told BoxingScene.com.

Meteor Shower peaks Friday night, Saturday morning
Since the meteor shower is above the equator, according to EarthSky , the best views will come from that area. SHOOTING stars created by the trail of Halley's Comet will be visible in the night sky over Essex tonight.

Hearn, who is planning Joshua's schedule, said that Fury still had a lot of hurdles to clear before a fight could be arranged.

"He'll have a couple of weeks to see what his future holds but I think Wladimir is lifted by the respect that was given to him not only by the fight community but also by fans around the world".

"For that they need a role model and Joshua is the finest role model I have seen in sport, period".

But Anthony said: "These guys will always have their door open for me; when all is said and done I'll always remember who was there when no one else was".

I find it really hard to watch, especially when I know someone that is in the fight. Klitschko actually fought beyond my expectations, because at 41 years old, it would be easy to write him off as an aging fighter.
