Maroney took notice and followed the video up with a post confirming she wasn't hacked and urging anyone to unfollow her should they need to.
"Another world premiere", she wrote.
Maroney has come a long way since stealing the show at the 2012 Olympics with her infamous "unimpressed" face after being awarded the silver medal for her vaulting performance. That ambition has made her an even stronger presence on social media, and she often posts photos of herself modeling crop tops and figure-hugging ensembles.
Now Maroney is at the center of another viral sensation, because of an Instagram video she posted Saturday. Others questioned whether her butt had been surgically enhanced.
The Olympic medalist then directly tackled the criticism, Tweeting, "hey, im just doing me. if u want me to be a role model so bad, get inspired by how i give 0 fcuks and go do u". It's her body, her choice, and her Instagram account. When she sported a fuller pout in July, she denied getting lip injections to Seventeen Magazine.
ICJ reserves verdict in Jadhav case
The ICJ has stayed the execution while the case is heard. "Else, it will be a violation of the Vienna Convention", said Salve. Pakistan has alleged that Jadhav was an agent of India's external intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
"Growing up in the social media world, it's tough", she said.
If you got it, flaunt it.
The video, which can be seen below, has been watched more than 800,000 times on her Instagram page.
"I don't mean to freak anybody out but at the end of the day, I have changed".
