Singer Ariana Grande is vowing to return to Manchester, England for a benefit concert to raise money for the victims of Monday's deadly bombing.

"I want to thank my fellow musicians and friends for reaching out to be part of our expression of love for Manchester", she said in a letter posted Friday to social media.

"My heart, prayers and deepest condolences are with the victims of the Manchester Attack and their loved ones", Grande began her letter. Raids across the area continue.

Britain's terror threat assessment has been hiked to "critical", the highest level, meaning an attack is considered imminent.

Now eight people are being held by police following the bombing at an Ariana Grande concert. On Friday, she released another statement on Instagram.
