Patriots Trade Jacoby Brissett To Colts For Phillip Dorsett

Probably New England's biggest move Saturday was trading third-string quarterback Jacoby Brissett to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for receiver Phillip Dorsett.

Starting quarterback Luck has been on the Physically Unable to Perform list throughout the Colts' preparations for the new season after undergoing labrum surgery in January. Eastern on Saturday to activate him from the physically unable to perform list, lest he miss the first six weeks of the season on injured reserve - but they did make a move Saturday to bolster their quarterback ranks, which now feature Scott Tolzien and Stephen Morris as healthy options, if uninspiring ones. His skillset was also on display in New England's final preseason game against the New York Giants, when he threw for four touchdowns and ran for another.

Previous year his numbers went up - 33 catches, 528 yards, two TD, with just one fumble. It just allows him to be able to return to the practice field, rather than being shelved for the first six weeks. "A lot of teams were reaching out, but it had to be the right situation". In addition to the Patriots, the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens were also reportedly in the running for the receiver. It's still unlikely he will play in next Sunday's season opener. It would be uncharacteristic of the Patriots to trade a player like Brissett for someone they did not think would give them a better return; and have that return fail.

And Bill Belichick said this process would be no more chaotic than a year ago. He entered the league and an undrafted free agent with the Cleveland Browns.

Tillerson says United States will keep up 'peaceful pressure' on North Korea
The North earlier threatened to shoot four intermediate-range ballistic missiles toward the USA territory of Guam. The rival Koreas recently saw their always testy relationship get worse after Mr Trump traded warlike threats.

Marsh was the 140th player selected in the 2014 draft. He completed 34 of 55 passes for 400 yards without a touchdown or interception. He has 51 career receptions, three of them for touchdowns, in his career. And - surprise! - he's seen as another potential core special-teamer.

Carr became a cut casualty after the Patriots added Dorsett. He hasn't played or practiced since Week 17 of last season.

Edelman will begin the season on injured reserve, along with cornerback Cyrus Jones (knee), and rookie defensive end Derek Rivers.
