James Woods got in another Twitter spat

Posted September 13, 2017

"James Woods tried to pick me and my friend up at a restaurant once", she tweeted.

(Woods turned 70 earlier this year.) And also began dating his previous girlfriend when she was 19 or 20, and he was (as Hammer points out) 60. "Did I offer to take you to Vegas?"

Woods replied, "The first is illegal".

At a press conference for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) screening of Call Me By Your Name, actor Armie Hammer said that he nearly turned down the role.

The user charged, "What makes a 24yo/17yo gay relationship inherently indecent but skeevy old guys trying to pick up a pair of 16 year old girls is okay?" "It scared me", Hammer said. Armie revealed later that James had blocked him on the micro-blogging site and asked whether Amber had received the same treatment. "The second is a lie", the actor responded. They were together for over six years and met because she was the daughter of one of his best friends!

Lil Wayne Has No Plans of Slowing Down Following Latest Seizure
He's just [in] the studio all the time trying to make music, get through this situation and give his fans what they need. He has reportedly suffered an epileptic seizure in his room, where he was found unconscious on Sunday afternoon.

Armie Hammer - who plays Oliver in the film - was quick to respond though - and in epic style, may we add.

"Somebody told me the libs are yelping. Troll traffic is up", he wrote.

"Final word on this", he tweeted before dropping off Twitter for the day, "I don't give a sh- what liberals think".

Woods then tweeted that he was a fan of Hammer's and thought he was a good actor.

"Call Me by Your Name" - which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January and just screened at the Toronto International Film Festival - is scheduled for a release in theaters November 24.
