Montgomery has started the four games of the year as Green Bay's primary running back, having carried the ball 46 times for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The Packers running back left the game during the second quarter.

The Green Bay Packers were dealt back-to-back blows Thursday night against the Bears when starting running back Ty Montgomery went down with an injury and was followed into the locker room shortly by backup Jamaal Williams.

Jones was impressive over the summer, but it took injuries to Montgomery and Williams for him to finally get an opportunity. He is reportedly day-to-day and could play in Week 5 when the Packers take on the Dallas Cowboys.

In a relief effort during Thursday night's blowout win over the Chicago Bears, Jones rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. The Packers announced he suffered a knee injury Thursday, but he will have time to heal, with their next game coming October 8. But even a torn ligament in his ankle that cost him a decent chunk of time couldn't keep him from racking up over 4,000 career rushing yards for the Miners, creating a lengthy highlight reel along the way. Williams is more of a between the tackles back.

On that note, here are five running backs Packers general manager Ted Thompson could look to acquire. Those carries represented more than half of Green Bay's rushing attempts (24 total in the game).
