Rally held to condemn Indian occupation of Kashmir

Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK President Faheem Kiyani vowed to expose Indian forces' human rights violations in the valley across the Europe and other western countries.

President Mamnoon Hussain said that the people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir are engaged in a struggle for the realisation of their right to self-determination against forces of tyranny and foreign occupation.

Observance of another black day by the Kashmiris on October 27 may awake the conscious of worldwide community towards India's continued forcible occupation of Kashmir and they may ask the leadership of the so-called big democratic India to grant democratic fundamental right to the Kashmiris in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

October 27, is the darkest day in the history of Jammu and Kashmir as on that day India landed its troops in Srinagar in blatant violation of worldwide laws and occupied major part of the valley, depriving Kashmiris of their birth right to Self-determination.

On October 27, 1947, soldiers of the Indian army landed in Srinagar to ostensibly save the people from the wrath of raiding tribesmen from Pakistan.

During the meeting, the participants condemned the arrest of the son of Syed Salahuddin and said that innocents are being framed in fabricated cases.

Al-Umar Mujhadeen Chief, Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar told news agency CNS that from past 70 years India has been befooling people of Kashmir in the name of dialogue.

AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that the Indian occupation of Kashmir reflects their ambiguous ambition of expansion.
