"Going after Tapper, Stone wrote: ".@jaketapper must be held accountable for his lies and very severely punished #Fakenewsasswipe".

While Stone has never been a model of decorum on Twitter, his level of vitriol Friday, coupled with the direct, personal nature of his attacks on Lemon, prompted multiple users-including Lemon's CNN colleague Keith Boykin-to wonder Friday whether Twitter might crack down. "You fake news you dumb piece of shit", Stone wrote [sic], according to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the first outlets to report on the ban.

"This is a unusual way to do business and part and parcel of the systematic effort by the tech left to censor and silence conservative voices", Stone wrote in an email.

Two of the tweets against Lemon included homophobic dog-whistles, including one making an obscene reference to oral sex and another calling the anchor an "arrogant partyboi".

Stone told Politico that he was told his account suspension would last "three hours and 22 minutes", but it was later reported that Stone would be permanently banned from the service.

OKC Thunder flight from Minneapolis hit... something, plane gets big-ass dent
That's what Oklahoma City Thunder players went through as they exited the plane after flying to Chicago . The sportsman posted a dramatic picture to Twitter of a badly damaged plane.

A spokesperson for Twitter said the company did not comment on individual accounts.

Stone said that he made a decision to bring a lawsuit against Twitter after communicating with "prominent telecommunication attorneys".

Still, many conservatives found the move hypocritical, citing Olbermann himself among other liberals who are still on Twitter despite some past tweets that might be considered similarly abusive or threatening. Stone helped Trump's campaign throughout 2016. Stone was briefly an adviser to the Trump campaign, and has been personally tied to activities that come under Mueller's purview, including the hack of the Democratic National Committee.

A Netflix Documentary, "Get Me Roger Stone" details the operative's career trajectory and current role as one of President Trump's confidants. His account on Twitter was swiftly suspended.
