David Cassidy, 'Partridge Family' superstar, in critical condition

David Cassidy, best known for his role as Keith Partridge on "The Partridge Family", is suffering organ failure in the hospital.

We're told David was rushed to a Florida hospital 3 days ago. and his condition has been worsening since his admission. His rep has not confirmed this.

Cassidy, in an interview with CNN in 2014, said his trouble with alcohol was "very humbling and it's also humiliating". Cassidy's health has been in decline for more than two months, and his family has been told to prepare for the worst, according to the report.

Cassidy, 67, was admitted to the unidentified facility earlier this week.
