Drumstick will be presented to U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House Tuesday, when he will ceremoniously "pardon" the turkey.

With First Lady Melania Trump and their son Barron at his side, Trump offered a pardon to Drumstick and his pal Wishbone just after 1 p.m.

The president pardoned Drumstick, and his sidekick, Wishbone, during the annual Thanksgiving Presidential Pardon in the White House Rose Garden.

After the pardoning, both turkeys will join last year's turkeys, Tater and Tot, at Virginia Tech's "Gobblers Rest' exhibit, where they'll be cared for by students and veterinarians".

Carl, along with his wife, Sharlene, raised this year's presidential turkeys on their hobby farm in Alexandria.

Cassidy, in an interview with CNN in 2014, said his trouble with alcohol was "very humbling and it's also humiliating". The actor and singer was in pain and taken to hospital on Wednesday (local time), the representative added.

He told the crowd gathered to watch his inaugural Thanksgiving pardon Tuesday afternoon that he's learned "under no circumstances" is he allowed to revoke Obama's pardon for the turkeys from 2016.

The annual turkey presentations continued, but the Presidential pardon didn't catch on.

"I've been very active in overturning a number of actions by my predecessor". "He refused; he was a tough cookie". However, I have been informed by the White House councils office that Tater and Tot pardons can not under any circumstances be revoked'. "Tater and Tot, you can rest easy". It faded under Presidents Gerald Ford and Richard Nixon, but George H.W. Bush brought it back in 1989.

Trump thanked the military and law enforcement prior to the pardon.
