Concerns stemming from the committee selection to find a new College of Liberal Arts and Science dean and questions about Provost Berry’s performance prompted President Bobby Fong to address the LAS faculty with a prepared statement on Sept. 2. While Fong did address the problems concerning the dean search and Provost Berry, he mostly focused on problems of the College as a whole.
