On Monday, April 10, between 15,000 and 20,000 Hoosiers crowded into downtown Indianapolis to defend immigration rights.
They joined the nationwide efforts to march for immigrant justice and stop House Resolution 4437.
Thousands of Latino immigrant families, as well as many other different groups of people gathered that sunny afternoon all wearing white clothing to show unity in the community.

Benedict prayed for peace in Iraq, solutions to nuclear disputes, and finally for Israel and Palestine.
