How will you remember Butler after you graduate? The annual Alumni Survey was mailed last October to undergraduate alumni from the graduating classes of 2000 and 2005 to ask what their views of Butler are now, having been in the “real world” for at least a year.

We survived the Butler Blackout of 2006. Just barely. At about 11:30 p.m. Thursday night, my suitemates and I were all diligently working on wrapping up final papers and projects for the end of the school year when, POP! No power for the night, and if you live in Res-Co like I do, there wasn’t any power the following day.

The Bulldogs were swept this weekend in a series with the league leading UIC Flames. The Flames took both games of a double header on Saturday by scoring a total of 27 runs on 29 hits.

Spring Sports Spectacular took place as the fraternities, sororities and dormitories of campus fought for the coveted trophy. It took place in Hinkle Fieldhouse from 7 p.m. Friday night until 7 a.m. Saturday morning to raise money to help benefit the Special Olympics.
