The new Apartment Village will be the primary housing option for students affected by the new housing policy requiring them to live on campus as juniors.

Students received a somewhat surprising email over the summer from President of Butler University Dr. Bobby Fong.

Beginning with the 2007-2008 school year, juniors will be required to live on campus. The new housing policy requires that all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who aren’t living with parents or legal guardians to live on-campus.

On July 24, 2006 Butler University announced that starting with the class of 2009, students will be required to live on campus their junior year. This is a dramatic change from the previous housing rules, which only required freshmen and sophomores to live on campus.
