Tuesday, September 5, 2006, 08:21 EST
Upperclassmen have been living in the new Apartment Village for a few weeks now, and still complaints of the unfinished status of many of the buildings from the residents are numerous. The university, however, now has plans to make amends to students who have been living in the apartments as construction has continued.

One of the great attractions about going to school at Butler is that it is located in a city. There are two great art museums, a history museum, professional and semi-professional sports teams, many festivals, and there are even a few areas with a trendy vibe, such as Massachusetts Avenue and Broad Ripple. The one drawback, however, is that to get these places, nine times out of ten, one needs a vehicle to get there.

The Butler volleyball team got a quick victory Tuesday night with a 3-0 win over St. Joseph’s (Ind.) at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Bulldogs handled the Pumas easily with game scores of 30-20, 30-18 and 30-27 in a match that took less and an hour and a half.
