Better Than Ezra will be performing for the Butler University fall 2006 concert on Friday, Oct. 20, in Clowes Memorial Hall at 8 p.m. as part of the homecoming celebration. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. at the Clowes box office.

Brace yourselves, it looks as though this week the National Rifle Association (NRA) has won another victory in the state of Indiana. People are now allowed to bring their handguns with them in state parks. “Pack a picnic—or a gun,” said the headline of the Indianapolis Star. I am disturbed by this, but I am also really not suprised.

After three weeks on the road, Butler’s volleyball team returned to Hinkle Fieldhouse on Tuesday for a match-up with in-state foe Ball State. The Bulldogs’ return to friendly territory turned out to be less enjoyable than they had hoped. Ball State defeated Butler 3-0 to spoil the homecoming.
