Kappa Kappa Psi, the national honorary band fraternity, hosted Swing Night in the Reilly room of Atherton Union on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The fraternity charged $5 per ticket for the event, with the proceeds benefiting the university’s Jazz Ensembles.

The purpose of this fraternity is to promote the existence and welfares of the college bands, Lauren Miller, the fraternity’s vice president of programs, said. The members want to support the jazz bands, she continued.
