Butler recently acquired the largest gift in its 151-year history - a $25 million dollar grant from the Lilly Endowment that will go toward funding the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Expansion Project.

Over Christmas break, the nation mourned the loss of the 38th president of the United States, Gerald R. Ford. The week-long events concluded in my hometown of Grand Rapids, Mich. because President Ford was from the metropolitan area and is the location of his presidential museum.

Long, satin wedding gowns embroidered with glass beads and pearls. Lace veils, draping elegantly over perfectly styled hair. Attire so ornate that it could only be worn on the most memorable of occasions. While this may sound like a fashion show runway, instead I am describing an exhibit right across the street at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
