Butler University President Dr. Bobby Fong announced at the end of last week that the men's lacrosse team will be terminated. Butler is also losing its men's swim team program.

Life has changed drastically for the members of Butler University’s men’s lacrosse and swimming teams. In one fell swoop, 45 student-athletes lost their teams.
“Guys' hopes and dreams were just crushed,” Stan Ross, men’s head lacrosse coach, said.

President Bush fulfilled Article II Section III of the United States Constitution by giving the State of the Union address to a joint session of congress last Tuesday. Although the speech was well-delivered, some of the points could have been expanded upon.

There are hundreds if not thousands of emerging, underground acts that strive for some kind of recognition. Of course some are more successful than others, their efforts do not go unnoticed. There is no set criteria to judge a band by, but one can strive to separate the good from the bad and legends from one hit wonders. Whether or not our predictions are correct, the goal is to appreciate the arts.
