Shortridge Middle School will be the home of a new magnet high school for law and public policy in 2009 as a result of a new partnership with Butler University.

On Feb. 6, Butler University announced a partnership with the Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) to form a magnet high school for law and public policy. The school will be located inside Shortridge Middle School. The high school will start in 2009 with the addition of a new grade every year.

Since when has "exhausted" come to mean sleepy? Its definition is "completely used up." When has "amazing" come to mean cool? Its definition is "so extraordinary or wonderful as to be barely believable or cause extreme surprise." These words used so often on a college campus have come to lose their meanings, their true meanings.

The No. 15 Butler men’s basketball team picked up a 68-58 road win over UW-Green Bay on Monday night. The Bulldogs are now 25-4 on the season and 12-2 in conference play.
