After the departure of Todd Lickliter as Butler’s head basketball coach earlier this week, Butler University wasted no time in hiring his replacement in carrying on the Butler tradition. On Thursday, Lickliter’s assistant coach, Brad Stevens, was officially announced as the Bulldogs’ new head coach during a press conference from the Hinkle Fieldhouse court where that tradition comes to life.

At younger and younger ages, the youth of America have been introduced to sex. It could be that due to growth hormone in meat that children are just developing faster. Maybe through the ages parents have decided to get the “birds and the bees” talk out of the way early. There are many contributing factors, but the biggest culprit is the media.

In James Earl Jones’ famous speech in the movie Field of Dreams, he says, “They'll come to Iowa for reasons they can't even fathom.” For Todd Lickliter, he will leave basketball’s fieldhouse of dreams to head to Iowa for something he can fathom: a head coach job at a Big Ten school. On Tuesday, Lickliter will announce his resignation from Butler to become the new head coach at Iowa. in a press conference in Iowa City.

Philly natives, Hot Cross, have been paving the way for other hardcore/screamo/metal bands since the beginning of this millennium. The four-piece, currently consisting of Billy Werner (vocals), Greg Drudy (drums), Matt Smith (bassist), and Casey Boland (guitar), recently released their second full length album titled "Risk Revival" on Hope Division/Equal Vision Records. With several EP’s and independent releases under their belt, Hot Cross hit the road in late February, making a much anticipated Indy appearance on March 21.
