Butler University announced Oct. 5, it would receive two new donations to the Butler Rising campaign, totaling $10.3 million.

The grants come from the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation and Butler alumnus Frank Levinson, class of 1975.

Schools need to be an environment where educating every student is the focus of the school. Schools are often distracted from this goal by creating unnecessary problems. One example of an unnecessary problem is forcing students to wear uniforms.

It was another tough day for Bulldog football. Facing the second-ranked team in mid-majors and division opponent Drake, Butler was unable to make up for its two turnovers in a 37-19 loss.
