BUPD is currently looking for a new chief of police.

Chief David K. Selby is no longer with the Butler University Police Department, according to an e-mail sent out by the university’s administration.

No reason was given for the departure.

Selby worked for the department from June 15, 1993, until Oct. 5, 2007, according to Courtney Tuell, director of public relations for Butler.

The office of operations, which oversees the Butler University Police Department, could not be reached for comment as of publication.

After reading the all-campus memorandum from Dr. Fong, I wish I would have gone to a Gender Equity Commission Town Hall meeting. I looked at the notes from the meeting and saw that the gender neutral housing issue was discussed at the third meeting.
