Senior point guard Mike Green showed why he’s an All-American candidate by scoring 10 of his 24 points in overtime to lead the Bulldogs to a come-from-behind 83-75 victory at Wisconsin-Milwaukee Tuesday night. Green added 13 rebounds and 8 assists, just two assists shy from the nearly impossible collegiate triple-double.

UWM led by as many as 12 points in the early going of the game and by six points with 2:55 remaining. Butler was able to force overtime thanks to clutch free throws by Willie Veasley and Green.

Starting off a game 8-for-29 from the field and 1-for-15 from behind the arc is never the ideal situation.

However, like most high-ranking teams, the Bulldogs (21-2, 10-2) eventually found their rhythm to secure a 62-57 Horizon League victory.
