Gen. Colin Powell has a bright vision for the future.

"Believe the world's a great place," Powell said during a press conference before his lecture at Butler University on Monday. Powell noted many recent achievements made by countries around the world in his speech as part of the Butler University Celebration of Diversity Distinguished Lecture Series.

Powell spoke of former President Truman's speech to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in 1947.

For the second year in row the spotlight on BracketBuster weekend shinned on Hinkle Fieldhouse and the game ended in a disappointment for Butler Bulldog fans. Just like last year, the Bulldogs are still in a great position to have an impact in the NCAA tournament despite the BracketBuster loss.
