The Cardinals came through in the 11th inning to steal away a 3-2 win over the Butler baseball team on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs (4-12) jumped on the scoreboard early. Sophomore Jason Jamerson led off the second with a single, followed by junior Alex Montagano’s walk, to set up freshman Michael Letzter’s liner up the middle to bring home Jamerson and give the team a 1-0 advantage.
However, the Cardinals tied things up the following inning and took the lead in the fourth on a fielder’s choice.
